This wallpaper has been inspired by a detail from an artwork in the collections of the British Museum. A man waking his sleeping lover, 1700s, gouache on paper, Mughal India, British Museum 1920,0917,0.326 The border of this painting shows painted gold flowers and leaves entwined on a deep green background.
