Sultana channels the quiet grandeur of a Mughal palace garden. Adapted from a 17‑century painting border, its tulip and balsam blossoms unfold across a parchment ground in soft rose, plum, and moss. The balanced repeat feels both ornamental and airy, wrapping a room in the refined calm of perfumed courtyards and silk‑lined chambers. A tribute to botanical artistry and regal leisure, Sultana brings understated opulence to contemporary interiors.

Notes: This fabric has been inspired by details from an object in the collections of the British Museum. Border detail from a Mughal painting, 17th century, from India, British Museum 1920,0917,0.13.21. The border contains stylised tulips and balsam flowers on a neutral ground and a further border of smaller purple flowers.
