We had a fantastic week at Chelsea’s Design Centre for this year’s London Design Week where we unveiled our British Museum and Mulberry House collection. It was an inspiring week of thoughtful conversations with designers and friends of the brand and the feedback on the collection was amazing. It's always interesting to get live feedback on our work and hear how designers think of using our wallpaper in their themes. We spoke to several interior designers who were looking for paper for children's rooms and thought The Birds at Play would be perfect for a girls room.

With our stand we wanted to keep it simple and to make the most impact with the size of space we had and so we chose to use the Mayura Valley Mural as the backdrop. It worked a treat at stopping people and inviting them to come and have a closer look. A special thanks goes to Julian Chichester for providing us with their beautiful desk and chair by Julian Chichester. The Luciano Desk & Dorothy Dining Chair

One of the highlights at the show was the reaction we received to the murals and how interested designers were at hearing the story behind them. It's probably no surprise that Mayura Valley, the wallpaper we used on the stand, stood out as a firm favourite, we even got a few orders on the spot. So how were people thinking of using the murals? Well, it ranged from everything to a yoga retreat, to a kitchen as well as on a yacht. So really, your imagination is the limit when thinking of where you could use the murals.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand and spent time with us and sharing their kind words about the new collection. We're so excited to see how everyone brings the wallpaper and fabrics to life in their projects and can't wait to share what's coming next with everyone.
